Grant Writer Required Skills: professional grant writer, preferably with knowledge of capital campaign and/or alternative energy funding. Office Assistant / Internet Researcher Job Description: Help with internet research, information gathering, and document creation for celebrity charity events and our alternative energy building and development project. This is a virtual position and requires access to the internet. Required Skills: Access to the internet. Basic understanding of web surfing and website navigation. Phone skills a PLUS. Willingness to learn new things! Male or female must be over 16 years of age. Physically challenged individuals are encouraged to participate! Special Events volunteer (EAST COAST) Required Skills: Fun-loving, energetic, non-smoker. Male or female must be over 13 years of age. Physically challenged individuals are encouraged to participate! Special Events volunteer (WEST COAST) Required Skills: Fun-loving, energetic, non-smoker. Male or female must be over 13 years of age. Physically challenged individuals are encouraged to participate!

Hello Everyone!!! I am so pleased to see so many new people volunteering with us! Welcome, welcome, welcome! These are our areas of need, right now: 1. Volunteer Coordinator - Nassau/Suffolk County - NY 2. Volunteer Coordinator - New York City - NY 3. Assistant Volunteer Coordinators - NY, NJ, CT Tristate Area 4. Assistant Volunteer Coordinators - NY, NJ, CT Tristate Area 5. Fund-Raising Project Coordinator - National 6. Fund-Raising Project Coordinator - Internet 7. Hospital Project Manager - Nassau County, NY We also need MANY volunteers over the summer for fund-raising programs such as our car washs and community festivals - in Nassau/ Suffolk, NY and Los Angeles, CA. If you are outside of these areas but still want to help, please do not hesitate to bring your ideas to us for fund-raisers or "virtual" projects! Our best and most successful projects have been initiated by our volunteers!!! I would also like to ask for volunteer coordinators specifically for the Car Wash Fund-Raisers in Nassau and Suffolk Counties in NY and the Los Angeles area in CA. These events are usually 1 or 2 weekend days and require training and a great deal of coordination of manpower. The cars do not wash themselves! A large parking lot (preferrably on a busy main road), water supply, and supplies are also needed for such a project. If you would like to take on this ambitious project, please let me know ASAP, since summer is here and cars all over town are really dirty!!! Once we have good teams in place and good locations, the Car Wash Fund-Raisers can be done multiple time over the summer and they are GREAT FUN! We have had great success with Car Wash Fund-Raisers in the past, raising as much as $5,000 in one weekend! But these events are tough to handle, even though it looks and sounds easy. This year we are being presented with some really wonderful opportunities and this is our chance to raise money, RIGHT NOW, for the operating budget that will make our Spirit Haven Project a reality! www.SpiritHavenCenter.org Please contact me directly to let me know which projects you are interested in, or projects of your own that you would like to begin!
